My final design.

For ease of creation, I was able to flow steadily designing my website according to my storyboards design including the typography, colour and layout with some tweak adjustments to where I saw fit to give the website a more enticing appeal. At first when I started adding features, I did struggle finding where each feature was hidden in Wix, but after a few video tutorials I eventually gained a better understanding of where each feature was, which led me to start designing the site with a more structured creative flow. 

I am happy with my end result for a first website, but I do see things I dislike about it and where I could improve.

The main one being the three sections Dine ins, Upcoming Events and Accommodations being too compact at the bottom of the page. I was trying to go for an all-in-one section, so a user doesn't have to scroll constantly to find one of the three sections. I would say the all-around spacing between each section is okay but maybe if I had displayed how the sections were presented better, the all-in-one section could have been more appealing. Instead of medium/big sized images for the links representing each facility/event, I could have displayed each facility in rows with possibly adding reviews and ratings as a short description in a more professional manner, so a user is more likely to click onto it.

My final impression is that I am happy with the outcome whilst still seeing my creative flaws I can improve on. I enjoyed the whole process from start to finish on creating my website. I have gained a more insightful view on how a website is built using a free web development platform and can now take advantage of this knowledge for when I next make another website.
